Sometimes attaching multiple USB devices to the ports can cause a conflict between other devices that are attached. I need this gamepad working badly.Įdited by nudombana, 28 June 2020 - 08:55 AM. I'd really appreciate if anyone could please help me out with a solution.
#IS USB 3.0 COMPATIBLE WITH USB 2.0 PRINTERS HOW TO#
I saw something that suggested the possibility but there was no clear explanation on how to go about it. I don't know if it's possible to disable the USB 3.0 ports through my device BIOS setup and boot them as USB 2.0 ports instead. The gamepad is obviously configured for USB 2.0 ports but I've seen on some forums that USB 3.0 ports are supposed to be backward compatible for lower USB devices. It doesn't pop up as an unknown device in the device manager, it doesn't pop up in my devices and printers as well, it's completely undetected. I've updated my drivers, rolled back changes, scanned for hardware changes in device manager, uninstalled and re-installed both my Intel® USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller - 1.0 (Microsoft) and USB Root Hub (USB 3.0) through the device manager but still the pad remains undetected. I have tried almost every available fix I've seen on Google. The internal light of the pad comes on, so there's obviously power passing into it but the analog light doesn't come on.

My Logitech mouse works fine, my flash drive works fine but the gamepad just doesn't. The system doesn't even detect the gamepad at all, almost as if nothing has been plugged into it. I tried connecting the gamepad through both USB ports and was surprised to find out it did not work. It's a 7th Gen Lenovo V130-15IKB running on a Windows 10 64-bit operating system, with only two USB ports (both being USB 3.0 ports). So I recently bought a USB gamepad controller for my new system.
